The Human Rights Centre of Ghent University is delighted to share with you the announcement of the Digital Avant Première of the documentary ‘Los Retornados’ by one of our members, Tessa Boeykens, and filmmaker Pieter De Vos, in co-creation with the community Copal AA La Esperanza, Guatemala.
The digital Avant Première will take place on Saturday February 20th, 2021 at 20h00 (in Dutch). In the meantime, you can watch the trailer here. The avant première will be followed by a panel conversation with Clemente Velazques (Copal AA), Tessa Boeykens (Historica), Wies Willems (Broederlijk Delen, expert natural resources), Eva Brems (Professor Human Rights Law, UGent) and David Verstockt (Fos), moderated by Samuel Pinillos.
