Oral rounds 17-18 March: Join us for the finals

After a successful first round of written contributions from over 30 teams from all over the world, we now welcome 12 teams to Ghent to compete in the oral pleadings on 17 and 18 March 2022.

All teams will plead in a fictitious case on behalf of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the People’s Republic of Kalakuta, and of 17 year-old Omar Sharif from Syria who seeks international protection in Kalakuta. They will do so before an international bench of judges coming from, among others, Kenya, Norway, South Africa, Tunisia and Ukraine.

Do you want to take part in this unique exchange? Join us in person or online for the finals on March 18 from 14:15-16:30 at De Krook Public Library in Ghent! We have limited seating and live stream available.

The programme is as follows:

14.15 – 15.15: Final
