Yaiza Janssens is an associated postdoctoral research fellow at the Human Rights Centre at Ghent University.

Prior to holding this position, she was an assistant at the faculty of Law and Criminology at Ghent University and PhD fellow.

She promoted to doctor in law on “Sexist street harrasment and the law in Belgium: legal assumptions and lived realities”, on 18 September 2018 at the Faculty of Law and Criminology of the Ghent University.
