Martine Dewulf joined the Human Rights Centre in November 2005 as administrative assistant. Before that, she studied horticultural engineering (1988) at CTL Gent and Library and Information Science at the University of Antwerp (2005). She joined Ghent University in 2000 as a librarian worker in the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences.
Martine has a passion for information. How to handle the float of information in the job and how to work in a team, so that everything goes smoothly is an important goal. She became front officer (financial project expert) of the department European, Public and International Law in the project Fo³cus FinPro in 2018. She maintains several websites, sharepoints and teams in the Human Rights Centre.
Her interest in how the university is governed has led her to become a member of the Board of the Faculty of Law. From 2012 until 2014 she was a Representative of the administrative and technical staff. She was also webmaster for the ATP-Council (the Administrative and Technical Staff Council) until 2016. From October 2014 till September 2016, she was Coordinator of this Council Board.
