Tobias Mortier is a PhD research fellow at Ghent University within the ConstitUGent research unit and is a member of the Human Rights Centre. In 2020 he obtained a Master’s diploma of Law at Ghent University. During the course of this Master’s program, he additionally spent a semester abroad at
Lund University.
Tobias’s research project is positioned at the intersection between constitutional law and human rights law and focuses on the judicial review of the legitimacy of the aims pursued by the legislator.
