Prof. Dr. Toon Moonen's Bio

Toon Moonen is professor of constitutional law at Ghent University (since 2017). Before, he was visiting professor at Hasselt University, law clerk in the Constitutional Court of South Africa and fellow of the Research Foundation Flanders. Toon studied law at Harvard (2012), in Brussels (ULB, 2010) and in Ghent (2008).

Toon is also an attorney at the Brussels bar (since 2015). His work mainly concerns constitutional law litigation, including regular appearances in the Constitutional Court and the Council of State.
